Question: How do you make a pawn and/or make a loan from a pawn shop?
Answer: Simply, bring the item you wish to pawn into the store and we will look at the item and make a cash offer. If you agree to the amount offered, we will write you a loan for the amount agreed upon.
Question: How many days do I have on the merchandise and/or items I loaned/pawned?
Answer: Each loan is good for 1 month with an additional 30 days of a grace period. The loan can be paid for before the month is up or on the last day of grace. Interest on the loan is based upon the amount of days your loan is open for. The interest rate is compounded into the daily fee. If necessary, you may pay for an extension on your loan/pawn.
Question: What is an extension on my loan/pawn?
Answer: An extension allows you to pay the interest on your loan/pawn.
Question: How do you determine the interest rate?
Answer: We do not determine the interest rate on merchandise loaned/pawned. The Texas Legislature sets the rates pawnshops may charge and the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner is responsible for enforcing the laws. We adhere to the rates given to us by the Texas Legislature.
